Over the years, we have always made it a point to share the meanings behind our songs while playing live or on tour. Each song is a call to action for social justice. If you have time to unite your struggle and your rage with any of the organizations here, you are needed more than ever. If you are not able to help by organizing or volunteering, please consider donating. If you have already been with us in the streets and in the fight, thank you. If you are too beaten down, broke, overworked, or underpaid to begin thinking about taking action, we hope these resources will help connect you to the support and solidarity of others who will have your back. The Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA) is a member-driven coalition that works for the interests of all the foreign-born residents of Massachusetts. MIRA is the largest organization in New England promoting the rights of immigrants and refugees. 
  
The Southern Poverty Law Center is dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward the day when the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity will be a reality.

The National Disability Rights Network (NDRN) works to improve the lives of people with disabilities by guarding against abuse; advocating for basic rights; and ensuring accountability in health care, education, employment, housing, transportation, and within the juvenile and criminal justice systems.  NDRN is the nonprofit membership organization for the federally mandated Protection and Advocacy (P&A) Systems and the Client Assistance Programs (CAP) for individuals with disabilities. Collectively, the Network is the largest provider of legally based advocacy services to people with disabilities in the United States.  
  
#BlackLivesMatter is a movement and online forum intended to build connections between Black people and allies to fight anti-Black racism, to spark dialogue amongst Black people, and to facilitate the types of connections necessary to encourage social action and engagement. 
  
Established in 1973, The Boston Area Rape Crisis Center has been committed to ending sexual violence through healing and social change. BARCC was one of the first rape crisis centers in the United States to advocate for and support survivors of sexual assault. First initiated as a grassroots, activist endeavor, the organization continues to be supported by over 100 BARCC volunteers annually. Volunteers provide crisis counseling, adolescent and family services, support groups, medical support, legal advocacy, and education to business, community groups, teen centers and schools. 
  
Democracy Now! is a national, listener-sponsored public radio and TV show committed to bringing the voices of the marginalized to the airwaves on global and local issues. 
  
The Fight for $15 and a union is an emerging movement of underpaid workers across industries demanding living wages and the right to form a union without employer retaliation. 
  
Free Speech for People is promoting an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to overturn the Supreme Court’s ruling in Citizen United vs. FEC and the doctrine underlying that ruling. 
  
Jobs with Justice and the Massachusetts chapter of Jobs with Justice believe that all workers should have collective bargaining rights, employment security, and a decent standard of living within an economy that works for everyone. Jobs with Justice unites labor, community, student, and faith voices at the national and local levels to win improvements in people's lives and shape the public discourse on workers' rights and the economy.  

The Lucy Parsons Center is a non-profit radical bookstore and community space in Boston run collectively by volunteers.

Mirror Image, Inc. is a unionized garment printing company located in Pawtucket, R.I. providing screen printing services for bands and other clients across the country. This is where Disaster Stirkes shirts are printed. M.I. stocks a variety of union-made shirts, hoodies, and more. M.I. employees are members of UAW Local 1596.

For many individuals around the world, access to vital reproductive and sexual health care and information is blocked — by poverty, a lack of basic services, or politics and war. Planned Parenthood works to overcome these barriers by increasing access to health care and education. 
  
The Prison Book Program mails books to people in prison to support their educational, vocational, and personal development and to help them avoid returning to prison after their release. The Prison Book Program aims to provide a quality volunteer experience that introduces citizens to issues surrounding the American prison system and the role of education in reforming it. 
  
Workers Independent News is a three-minute radio newscast airing weekdays on approximately 150 terrestrial stations across the country and online. The newscast is focused on the issues and concerns of working people.

Adbusters is a not-for-profit, reader-supported magazine concerned with the erosion of our physical and cultural environments by commercial forces. Known worldwide for sparking Occupy Wall Street, Adbusters is also responsible for social media campaigns such as Buy Nothing Day and Digital Detox Week. By challenging people to become participants as opposed to spectators, Adbusters takes aim at corporate disinformation, global injustice and the industries and governments who actively pollute and destroy our physical and mental commons.
